City of Salida

• Located at the Salida City Hall, 448 East 1st Street, 719-539-4555.
• The City of Salida will charge for this service.
• Required to pay the fee before an officer will perform the inspection.
• Upon paying the fee, you will receive a receipt.
• An officer will be scheduled to perform the inspection.

Town of Buena Vista

• Located at the Buena Vista Police Department, 111 Linderman Avenue.
• Pay the fee at The Town of Buena Vista, 210 East Main Street.
• If officer at police department, inspection will done.
• If not, call the Chaffee County Dispatch Center, 539-2596, they will schedule an officer to perform the inspection.

Unincorporated Chaffee County

• Please call Chaffee County Dispatch Center 539-2596 to schedule a deputy to perform the inspection.
• Deputy is authorized to collect the fee.

Certified VINS

• Contact the Colorado State Patrol, 719-539-4816 or 719-544-2424
• Required for bonded titles
• Pay fee to officer
